Our Story

Advance Refrigeration was founded in 1960 in the back of a Chicago laundromat. The orders were taken on the pay phone in the back of the store. Tremendous growth during the next ten years required us to move to larger quarters.  We started mainly as an appliance repair company. As our service department grew, we began to develop relationships with appliance manufacturers.

In 1967 our continued growth led to a new three story building. Once we were settled in, we established our parts department. At this point our service department had grown to several technicians and our delivery trucks were on the road daily.  In 1987 Advance Refrigeration moved to Bensenville, our current headquarters. Appliance sales continued to climb, as did our service and parts support.  Today Advance Refrigeration is the only major appliance distributor in the Chicago area whose customers benefit from our own appliance warehouse and in-house service and parts department.

Advance Refrigeration exists to efficiently and economically provide quality appliances and service to the apartment and homebuilder marketplace in the greater Chicago area, while honoring and striving to maintain Judeo/Christian values.

Advance Refrigeration is unique in meeting the needs of its customers because it has relationships with many quality appliance manufacturers and parts suppliers; provides factory authorized warranty and service work; maintains its own warehouse and its own delivery system; and consistently places a high value on all of its customer, manufacturer, and employee relationships.
