Advance Refrigeration was founded in 1960 in the back of a Chicago laundromat. The orders were taken on the pay phone in the back of the store. Tremendous growth during the next ten years required us to move to larger quarters.
We started mainly as an appliance repair company. As our service department grew, we began to develop relationships with appliance manufacturers.
In 1967 our continued growth led to a new three story building. Once we were settled in, we established our parts department. At this point our service department had grown to 20 technicians and our delivery trucks were on the road daily.
In 1987 Advance Refrigeration moved to Bensenville, our current headquarters. Appliance sales continued to climb, as did our service and parts support.
Today Advance Refrigeration is the only major appliance distributor in the Chicagoland area whose customers benefit from our own appliance warehouse and in-house service and parts department.
